QU50160 2-5/8″ OD Lockout Hub Cam for Dualmatic and Selectro Hubs

QU50160 2-5/8″ Selectro or Dualmatic Hub Cam is a genuine replacement black plastic part for the original failure prone, pot metal and gray plastic hub cams found in a variety of Dualmatic and Selectro Classic series hubs that were widely sold as aftermarket hub sets from the 1970s-on. Dualmatic hubs using this size cam were also original equipment for 1980 to 1991 Dodge heavy duty 4x4s with the Dana 60 or Dana 61 front drive axles using QU11069 external mount wheel hubs.

Tech Note 1: Replacement Part
The old Dualmatic and Selectro spring-lock Hubs were easy to engage and disengage due to the large black knob that you could easily turn even when wearing mittens. They were a pretty good hub strength wise, but their original pot metal or gray plastic hub cams are a real weak point that often broke at the worst time or when you tried to remove the 3 special retaining screws.

Tech Note 2: Fits
QU50160 Hub Cams fit most Dualmatic manufactured hubs. Dualmatic sold hubs under their own Dualmatic and Selectro hub brands, plus they built private label hubs for other companies including Pathfinder and Dana Powertrain. Except for spline mount Dana 50/60 hubs and some hubs built for 1-1/2 ton and larger axles, QU50160 fits all the Dualmatic/Selectro type hubs with the big turn knob that I have seen.
