QU40541 Knuckle to Spindle Bolt Chevy, Dodge, GMC Dana 60 Front Axles

QU40541 Dana 60 and Dana 61 Spindle to Knuckle Bolt (Stud) is a genuine original equipment Dana Spicer, heat-treated, serrated press-in, special head bolt that fits the steering knuckles on 1970s to 1990s Dana 60 and Dana 61 front drive axles in Dodge and General Motors 4×4’s 1 ton 4×4 trucks and 1989-1993 Dodge Diesel 3/4 ton 4×4’s. Six of these special bolts are pressed into each steering knuckle and are used in conjunction with QU95037 Class C Locknut to secure the spindles and caliper supports.

Tech Note 1: Flat Spot On Head
When you drive these Bolts into your steering knuckle, make sure the flat spot on the head is adjacent to the spindle mounting hole.

Tech Note 2: Replace
These bolts (studs) should be replaced after front end collisions or anytime the threads are damaged in any way.
