Use with TK10680 Poppet Gasket, QU50252 Poppet Spring, and QU50349 Poppet Ball.
Tech Note 2: Replacing Blade-Type Switch
QU30048 will also replace QU10515 blade type switches used on 1980-1984 GM trucks if optional QU90002 Pigtail is spliced into your indicator circuit. For 1980-1993 Dodge applications, there is usually insufficient clearance between the cab floor and transfer case to accommodate QU30048 Switch + QU90002 Pigtail unless the truck has a body lift.

Tech Note 5: Shift Rail
To use this switch, your transfer case has to have the matching shift rail (QU30069) that has a shallow center detent notch. Click Here to See Close Up Detail of notches.
Tech Note 6: Maximum Torque
The 15/16″ hex head of your hollow threaded Switch makes it easy to over-tighten the switch and twist off the threads at the base if you are not careful when torquing it down. Maximum torque is 16 .
