QU20093 also fits 1990-1994 Dana 35 and 1993-1994 Dana 28, 27 spline outer axle shafts in Ranger, Explorer, and 1990 Bronco II that originally came with discontinued QU40101 one piece thrust washer. Tech Note 1: Lubricate!
Lack of lubrication is the usual cause for this part to fail.

Tech Note 2: Upgrade
Up to 1994, Dana used QU40101 one piece thrust washer which often wears against the end of the spindle. If you have one piece thrust washers in your 1990-1994 axle, replace them with QU20093 3 piece set to reduce or eliminate spindle end wear.
