QK4512 Dana 60 Front King Pin Kit for 1975-1993 Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC, and IHC trucks with Model 60 and 61 King Pin type front axles. Complete Kit for both sides includes 2 each of these genuine Dana Spicer original equipment parts: QU40191 King Bearing/Seal Sets, QU40063 Upper King Pin Gasket, QU40157 Spring Plate, QU40265 Tension Spring, QU40093 Upper King Pin Bushing. Kit also includes Anti-Seize, Threadlocker, Disc Brake Lube, RTV Sealant, & Cotter Keys for the tie rod ends.

Order optional QT1018 Large 4 Prong Socket, or QT1025 Universal Front & Rear Spindle Nut Socket separately, depending on your truck year & model, for your spindle nuts & serviceable wheel bearings.

Tech Note 2: Durable
Of all the King Pin and Ball Joint configurations used on 3/4 and 1 ton 4×4 trucks, none is as durable as the Dana Spicer King Pin Open Knuckle design that was introduced in the 1975 model year. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, all the vehicle manufacturers switched to ball joints in the early 1990’s with GM and Ford dropping the design after 1991, while Dodge used it until 1993.

Several spindle bearing nut and wheel hub configurations were used on King Pin equipped axles. Additional stocking service parts you will need for:
Chevy/GMC: 1977-1981 order QU40037 Spindle Lock Washer, QU40065 Large Spindle V-Seal, QU40148 Small Spindle V-Seal, QU40066 Spindle Thrust Washer separately
Dodge: 1976-1990 order QU40051 Spindle Lock Washer and QU50216 Hub Flange Gasket separately
