QK3070 Hot-Forged Heavy-Duty 3 Joint Kit for 1970-1993 front or rear driveshafts in gasoline engine trucks with Detroit Universal 7260 series small internal c-clip u-joints. Kit includes 3 QU40751 Easy-to-Lube, Heavy-Duty (See Tech Note 2) U-Joints, 1 QU40729 U-joint Strap and Bolt Kit, and S9978 Medium Strength Threadlocker.

Tech Note 1: U-Joint Specs
7260 Series u-joints are retained by internal c-clips that fit against the inside of the yoke ears. Width between the yoke ears is 2-1/8″. U-Joint cup diameter is 1.078″.

Tech Note 2: Heavy Duty
Heavy-Duty is a relative term. QU40751 U-joints have thicker crosses and longer needle rollers than is typical for this series universal joint, however, these are really small u-joints, that size wise are stressed by larger gas V8 engines and/or high u-joint angles. If you are souping up your old Dodge, consider upgrading the driveshafts and universal joints to a larger series.
